Pre Christmas Phone

Look what i woke up to this morning.My everchanging wallpaper decided to grow a plant with red and white bulbs .Currently the panel lights are red too.Talk about a phone being Christmassy.I had initially forgot that today is Christmas Eve,i made plans to go back to vista,even told my dad about it the night before.Somehow i found out that no one will let be back there today.So shall postpone the trip back to tomorrow.Guess Father Christmas didn't want me to spend my first few Christmas moments alone.I'd rather he give me pointers on how to finish up my notes before finals..Need to go back to studying.

Winter Solstis

My grandma used to make it a big deal every year to celebrate Tang Ceh as they call it in hokkien,to the point of giving up family trips because it always clashes with Christmas time.I bet there are interesting meanings to why they make some of the tong yuens bigger since it is to symbolise the breaking of winter.I remember there used to be like the mother of all tong yuen and two lil ones stuck to the entrance of the door each year.Actually i might have asked this question before.Woops..forgot the answer.Miss ah mah's bouncy and chewy tong yuen...but i guess those readymade ones would have to do.Note to self: learn to make bouncy tong yuen for next year.hehe.

Double Reindeer

Remember the project i was working on?Ta da....two reindeer cards.They were officially sent out to the recipients along with little pretreat.Hope you like them,you guys.Just my way of appreciating all the things you guys have done for me and spreading the Christmas joy.Remember not stare at them till you forget to study k;).While typing this,i was wondering why they were called reindeer...couldn't be that it was raining when they were born as speculated by hitz.fm djs once upon a time.Do you know why?

Happy Birthday Justin!Happy Birthday Yew Wen!Have you ever heard of the believe that you're not allowed to blow candles of a birthday cake twice?Not really sure where it came from but the chinese believe so.It really baffler me,the westerners were the one who came up with the candles for the cake but the chinese come out with rules about it.Hmmm maybe they were teaching people to save,can't blow candles,maybe they won't get a cake.Who knows?We've come really far from the times when people used to eat pau to celebrate.December seems to be birthday month.There are some others along the way but it's never the same.It's always so pack.Could be an illusion with christmas coming,winter solstis festival,the year coming to an end or just simply because i celebrate my birthday in this same month too.Whatever it may be,everything is coming to an end,this year i'll be ending with an uphill task.Hopefully it i'll be able to conquer the hill.

Today i woke up from a nightmare of snake chasing after watching the latest episode of naruto.Creepy...Before i realised, i'm back in the real life nightmare of trying to finish up for EOS 5. Despite the unfruitfulness of the day,went to the curve for dinner and movie at cineleisure...don't judge ppl...everyone needs a break.Couldn't help myself but to check out the queu for Big Apple Donuts....non existant..hehe..decided to get myself some.What can i say?When i'm into something i'm really into it.

The 3 'brothers'
On to the movie..heard a lot bout the movie even before i watched it and i must say it's really as good as people say it is.Have never seen Takeshi Kaneshiro act so well before...he has always only been a so so actor to me.He was the narrator for the movie...most of it was seen from his view...eventhought he was more like a link/protector of the brotherhood between Jet Li,Andy Lau and himself..he still manage to sparkle.. the line i loved most from him which was a lil hilarious too was when he repeatedly told Andy Lau's character 'Da ke shi tui te' meaning that big brother(Jet Li) is right.You really need to watch to understand what i mean.Oh and the ending from him was so good...so emo punya face as he repeatedly stood up to Jet Li's character.Well enuff said for his character who likes to do things repeatedly and kinda reminds me of the proverb berani dengan membuta tuli.After all the fighting..backstabbing...good turn evil...good trying to salvage evil...good kill evil..what more to expect but a sad ending that keeps you longing for more to the story.

On a happier note...i'm working on two projects..well they are one of the same but making two of them..can't post pictures yet..not till i give them out to maintain the element of suprise.All i can say it involves two reindeers.

Donut TimeOut

I know,i know it's too much an obsession about donuts.2weeks in a row.It was J.Co,now it's Big Apple.But just couldn't help myself when i passed by the outlet in The Curve.It was like calling out to me and the queue wasn't that long.Maybe it was the satisfaction of queueing and then getting something,not actually the eating part.Whatever it maybe,at least i knew it made me happy to be able to make others happy with a nice suprise.When i was back at aunt's place,Sam was there,how could i not offer him some?He's like the biggest eater i know after bro.Suddenly had a flash back of the time when he used to tell Karen,Celest and I, "I hate girls".It was so funny 3grown up girls arguing with a small boy about it.Especially Karen,when she's all heated up.Anyway,he doesn't say that anymore.We made truce.Later back at my apartment there was another donut session for me.It's like donut binging.Had ppl over and must share joke of the day from jackie when we invited him over."Big Apple donut,no problem i got big mouth" With a dozen donut what else to do?Camwhore lor.The donut wasn't the main topic,everyone was more deprived of tv programmes.I've never seen a group of ppl who would watch anything on any channel.I guess the studying is getting to us but gotta admit the bang bang boom challenges were hilarious.Drink bitter gourd for RM20,whole watermelon for RM10 and weird belacan and tempoyak thing for RM50.Kinda like fear factor malaysian style.It's nice to take a break and just relax with a bunch of friends.I don't feel sleepy anymore.Study time.

Golden Compass!!

7th December : Happy Birthday Chia Huan.Hope you're spending quality time at home.

After health issues exam yesterday,went to watch prob the best movie ever 'The Golden Compass".You know why it's best?It has cute armoured bears!!!I want one too.

Reminds me of my favourite soft toy..not that it looks alike but i need to clean it.After 21 years with him, i guess it can't be allergy that's making me sneeze.Still pondering whether to send it to the laundry place..it needs time to dry so a bit diff for me to do it in my apartment...what if it falls down 6 floors?Cannot, cannot.

The interesting part came after the movie,our initial plan was to shop if it was not for the last minute movie tickets.Everyone was so funny,it was like Amazing Shop..our version of Amazing Race, as we stood by the escalator,made plans to meet at 10pm and ready get set and go.....Okie okie must admit have been wanting to shop every since Pavilion.Eventhough didn't manage to get what i want but still can make unplanned purchase.Hehe.Pai seh..made everyone wait while i made my last purchase.Sorrie...

Lunch today was good.Went to Wong Kok Cha Chan Teng in ss2.Haven't been there since A-levels with Ming and the rest.A lot has changed,for the better i guess...at least for me.The whole interior was purple in colour, with3 section ;smoking outside(shu shu), the non smoking separated further into two..lounge like and the normal sets in any Hong Kong style restaurant.Makes me happy just being there.Hehe.
Happiness ends there...been dazing away the whole day indulging in non study activities..there goes my wonderful plan to stop indulging.Last night,i had an urge play badminton but controlled,theory was ; if i don't indulge then at least if i don't meet my quota i won't feel that guilty...but see how everything is already pre-planned by the wonferful person up there?How can i fight a greater power?

Best birthday advise-(Prasad)don't study for an hour la k? Ended up spending first hour fixing a brain model with Ben and Paul.Not easy k?Plus finally got d chance to chat with my best friend online,before a night's slumber.Yay.

Woke up to the WORMs ring tone announcing birthday wishes no hold.Still wondering whether it was the right choice not to go home.Making this my1st birthday away from home ever since i could remember.Miss the family tradition of red eggs,family meal and obviously the cake cutting and cam whoring.It's this time when i miss most two of what used to be a constants in my life;ah ma and honey.

But things change and this year,celebrated the cake cutting with the other extended 'family'.Thank you guys for putting in the effort on the puzzle card!Challenging,just to piece em back together.And a special personal thanks and hug to Jane June who sacrificed pbl and so much time to plan.

Nevertheless,the best suprise came from none other then Ah Yen,Karen and Shian Yi.Initially expecting only some dessert like tong sui from ah Yen's msg.They turned up with a box of J.Co Donuts!Aaaah dream come true.Love you guys lots.Thanks for delivering the best present ever.Eventhough i did say the best suprise would be if there was no suprise at all but in the end i rather receive a conventional suprise.(the1actually with1) What is this?The Donuts lor what else?Now you see it

Today started as a day full of hopes and anticipation.It has been 4days since I'd planned to grab a J.Co Donut and dinner with dad.Reluctantly woke up after a night of struggling with the renal system.Finally, it was conquered and over with.The spirit for the day finally set in as i walked into my sparkling clean bathroom with approval of my own 3am cleaning effort.Who needs a cleaner for RM10per hour when a frustrated day of studying can turn into a full effort of cleaning.Anyway, can't remember much of what went thru most of the day except the fact that i only manage 1 lecture note while waiting for a day out in Kay-El city.

5.28pm: Dad's plane finally touch down.Pavilion here i come!

So much to see so much to buy.But i was a good girl today, no buys only set my mind on an item for another day,maybe tomorrow.Who knows how long my craving for a purchase can be held off?Hehe.Went to Kampachi as recommended by Ah Yen.Food is so so ,only thing worth trying was the soft shell skin crab temaki.

KAMPACHI !!

After dinner was time for J.Co.Silent excitement runs thru me as my dad's friend went to see jaguars,i was more focus on donuts.Suprise suprise the queu was as long as expected.After a long wait,only two more persons in front of me........the last 4donuts were sold.A tale of a disappointing 25mins wait.Or more like 4days anticipation down the drain.Well what can i say? What is not meant to be is not meant to be.After ranting to Ah Yen,all i can do is take her advise and be patient,there will be other chances.Worse come to worse i'll try it next year.It's not tat far.Just need to fastforward the Eos part.

What else can i say?They're purple!!My fav,although,i was told that the original1is suppose to be white in colour.Have a pic of that too but haven't figured out how to use the mobile blog yet.Can't seem to fully utilise anything.I guess i'll hafta wait till i get my hands on the steady old internet connection from a com.

Another day of studying 31days left

Looking at all the lecture notes gives me mix feeling.Lying there is a small pile i just finish on the other hand there is still a shelf full of notes to go thru before the final test begins.All i can do is to ask God for guidance and strenght to keep moving on and help me retain what i have read.There is no time for fear of the future only time to put in all the effort i can
