Sydney Trip-Road Trip

Day 6
The weekend it was, finally Gary could join us for an outing. We've set Newcastle and Hunter Valley as our target for the one day trip.
Gary invited two of his friends along for the road trip since they were in town.Chia Pei and Kenny, the rest was history.2 obviously very fun loving people.
Before anything,we had to drag our sleepy heads all the way to King Cross to get the car.Mighty long affair that was.Due to one very slow lady.Nevertheless we got the car ,we were off in a jiffy.
Our crazy driver and co driver We were all buckled up behindGotta love the harbour bridgeNorth SydneySuper strict must follow raffic rulesEh look like countryside already
All along the way, Gary would randomly point to something and ask me to look before dismissing it as nothing. If I was in an anime, i would have question marks on my head.Eventually he explained that he was trying his best to spot roadkill to add to my aussie experience. But apparently, there were more dead kangaroos lying around on the highway from Canberra to Sydney rather then Sydney to Newcastle.

We got a glimpse of this...quick send to The Star

Despite having the GPS system navigating the way, we had our very own surreal taste of getting lost on a road trip.Driver sleeping ar??

Arrived at last.Nelson Bay

We went to makan dulu.Fresh seafood. My Cod Fish..super yummy Kenny and Chia Pei (acting shy)
Jeremy chunking down his burger
Gary and myself.I can still remember Gary saying..must facebook..That's his way of saying he wants the pics.

Around Nelson Bay

Since time was an issue,Whale watching became Dolphin watching, 99% sighting or moneyback guarantee. This is so like the Free Willy scene And while we're at that,Kenny and Chia Pei was beer tasting. This one taste pretty good though.Supposedly we were going to do sand boarding at Stockton but little did we know the Dunes span over 32km and we couldn't find anyone to bring us in..Disappointed.

Hunter Valley Vineyard became Port Stephens Vineyard.Wouldn't have made much difference since winter only offers a scenery of twigs. Us with car
The night could only offers more fun as the host brought us to some dodgy street selling alcohol. While we were at it,2 cars drove in and came to a halt. All at once 8 doors opened allowing a bunch of people out of the cars.I felt like it was a scene from a movie where guns and drugs were involved.I have to admit it shook me up for a bit.Me,being a total jakun in a foreign land,it was nothing but an expected occurance at a drive-thru alcohol store.

Game time..what game?Drinking game. Not the best influence to be blogging about this.
Kenny doing his thang at the kitchen and whipped up an apple crumble and another orange cake to follow in no time. One of Gary’s housemates, another Jeremy has a talent. He can do magic tricks...Wohoo..
